The Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) regulates all legal online gambling in New Jersey, including land-based and online casinos, poker rooms, and sports betting platforms. The DGE also oversees the licensing process for all casino operators in the state. In addition to its regulatory responsibilities, the DGE also collects taxes on all gambling activity in NJ.
The DGE is committed to ensuring that all NJ gambling is conducted safely and fairly. To this end, the agency regularly audits and investigates all licensed casinos. Any casino that violates the rules is subject to enforcement action, up to and including revocation of its license.
